  Costco has been in a steady rise since early November because its christmas season, except for Nov.16 and Nov.29 it had a drop relatively bigger than usual. On Nov.16 the stocks market was all down .Until Nov.10 Costco was following the similar patter as the Dow Jones, but on Nov.10 Costco separated itself from the Dow and raised while the Dow decreased. The NASDAQ pattern is similar to the Dow's. Target (TGT) started to raise in a similar fashion as Costco, but Target has increase higher than Costco; however, Walmart (WMT) although in a similar fashion kept lower gains than Costco.
  Even until now the stocks price for Costco is still rising. COST posted a strong first quarter, bolstered by their 50% ownership in a Mexico Joint Venture. The Costco Q1 profit jumped 17% (released on Dec.8.2010.) -- Link for this article

 Overall COST is a good company to invest in right before Christmas season, Thanksgiving, New Years and all the other shopping season for groceries.
